Dr. Ilisio Viana was born in Sao Tomé island, part of Sao Tomé and Principe archipel, a country located at the Golf of Guinea in the middle of Atlantic ocean.

Dr. Ilisio Viana is Ph. D. in Computer Science and Robotics, from IMT Mines Albi, and work as a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer

His appilication fields of interest include Signal and Image Processing as well as Artificial Intelligence or Deep Learning.

Dr. Viana has 8+ years experience working in several technological research and development projects both in industry and Lab including :

• Inspection of aeronautical mechanical parts by computer vision using CAD model

  Design of a new generation of Sky Watcher (SW-X) Cameras for Solar Energy Production forecasting integrating instrumentation solar irradiance measurement and temperature monitoring

  Build statistical data analysis to evaluate accuracy of Solar Energy Production forecasting algorithms and provide indicators for solar plant monitoring

  Contrast Enhancement of image sequence in turbulent scenes using High Rate Camera

  Fluid motion field estimation in image sequence using statistical approach in turbulent scenes captured with High Rate Camera

Furthermore, Dr. Viana is a Lecturer at University of Toulouse Paul Sabatier, where he teaches Signal and Image Processing at Bachelor and Master Level.

Beside his passion for technology Dr.Viana has a great interest for areas such as Organisation and Leadership and how people can be brought together to work collectively, this is why he graduated with a master in Economics and Organisation, with an specialization In Human Resources and Change Management.

He his currently Vice-President of Daycare center "Les Petits Poussins de Quint-Fonsegrives", serving on the board and responding to the Human Resources related topics
